For the sake of posterity - yes, Brooklyn Lakeside Curling Club was the curling club on S02E09, the "Gearing" episode of Jon Glaser Loves Gear on TruTV.

That's Jon Glaser himself with the stone, helped by his 'Spurt (expert - you'll have to watch the show to understand) Maria (center) and Dean (right). It's my understanding that this was shot in the very early hours of a weekday morning last March. For a newbie, Jon didn't do half bad!
